Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal data getshortlist.store collects, why, and what you can do about it. The data fiduciary is Aryan Rao Kaveti, trading as Shortlist. Contact: dpsgnotes@gmail.com.

What we collect

• Order details: your email address and phone number (entered in the Razorpay checkout), order and payment IDs, amount and time of purchase.
• Technical data: IP address, browser user agent, the page you bought from and campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source), and advertising cookies (_fbp, _fbc) if present.
• What we don't collect: card numbers, UPI PINs or bank login details. Razorpay handles these under its own policy.

Why we use it

• To deliver your download, send you the link and help you if something goes wrong.
• To prevent fraud and keep records required for accounting and tax.
• To measure whether our ads work. We use the Meta Pixel on this site and send purchase events to Meta. Email and phone are hashed (SHA-256) before they are sent to Meta.

Who we share it with

Only service providers that run the store: Razorpay (payments), Supabase (order database and file storage), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting) and Meta Platforms (ad measurement). We don't sell your data.

Cookies

We use Meta's advertising cookies to measure ad performance, and your browser's local storage to remember your download page on this device. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the store still works.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as needed for delivery support, accounting and legal requirements, generally up to eight years. You can ask us to delete anything we aren't required to keep.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and raise a grievance. Email dpsgnotes@gmail.com; we respond within 30 days.
